Andrews Works on Bush
The Saints tried to downplay the seriousness of Reggie Bush’s knee problems, claiming the major NFL bust only had a sprained ligament, but now it’s come out that Reggie required surgery on his knee and that said procedure was performed by no less a personage than Dr. James Andrews himself. And yet the Saints are still trying to act like it’s no big deal. “I wouldn’t want to call it minor, because he’s got a pretty significant period of rehab time,” said Saints GM Mickey Loomis. “But at the end of it, he shouldn’t have any issues.”
If Loomis were given a shot of truth serum I bet he’d admit he wishes he had never heard of Reggie Bush. He probably wishes Bush’s knee would just blow out entirely and they could cut him and move on with life. This guy is an albatross around the organization’s neck. He will never be anything more than a glorified Dave Meggett.
