Jeff Jagodzinski ain’t afraid of your threats, BC athletic director Gene DeFilippo. You think you can control the guy by saying he’ll lose his job as head coach at your university if he interviews for the Jets job? He says bring it on. He says you can take your little college job and shove it. The NFL beckons and he is ready. So maybe he doesn’t end up getting hired by the Jets…so what? He finds himself another college job – they’re a dime a dozen – and in a couple years he defies another self-important AD and interviews for another NFL job. Sooner or later he’ll be in the big-time. And where will you be, Gene DeFilippo, guy I never heard of and have no reason to be expressing so much animosity toward? Sucking up to boosters. Trying to cover up potential academic scandals. Watching your football team beat the crap out of another pathetic Notre Dame squad. I knew I could turn this post into a Notre Dame bash somehow.
