eBay bargain hunters have a rare opportunity before them today: The chance to bid on a Ford F-150 currently owned by former New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre. “[Brett] will sign the dashboard upon the request of the buyer,” says the listing. “This truck is well equipped with an Alpine Stereo (see photos), Fab-tech Lift Kit, Modified Intake System (see photos), SuperChips Programmer, MKW Wheels, Bed Cover, and upgraded Fender Flares. That adds up to about $10,000 dollars in add-on options.” What, no Playboy mudflaps? No upfiring subwoofers in fiberglass enclosures for when you’re rocking your Trace Adkins CDs around the hood? No platinum steer horns hood ornament? No gun rack?
I’m wondering why Brett has elected to sell his truck on eBay in the first place. I’m guessing he’s not doing it because he needs the money (at least I hope he doesn’t). He’s a real nice guy, so he’ll probably give whatever he makes in the auction to charity. Maybe he’ll donate the money back to Ford – God knows they could use it right now.
