McNamee Reveals: He and Clemens Profaned Yankee Stadium Hot Tub

Steroid guru Brian McNamee has revealed to website sportsimproper.com that he used to inject Roger Clemens with drugs in the hot tub at Yankee Stadium.  Speaking exclusively to the site, McNamee gave details of various roiding sessions:

One of the needles I gave the government [as evidence] was used to inject Clemens with steroids in either July or August of 2001.  The place was his high-rise apartment, which is located off the corner of 90th Street and First Avenue in Manhattan. It was when Clemens was pitching for the Yankees.

That day, he laid out the drugs, dropped his trousers and I did as he asked, that is, inject him with steroids. Afterwards, he told me to get rid of the needle. I went into the kitchen and found an empty Miller Lite can in a wastebasket under the sink. I put the used needle into the can because it was actually hazardous material at that point and I didn’t want anyone to get hurt by sticking themselves. He told me to throw it away but I kept it instead.

…sometimes it was in the Jacuzzi at Yankee Stadium. Sometimes I injected him while he was on the road.
When he was playing with Toronto, he provided the drugs and I injected him when he was in Canada.

One time, on the road, I was in his hotel room and he called hotel management and had them bring up a bottle of alcohol. I swabbed the injection site with it and afterwards used some more of it to clean it up.

A new image for us to enjoy:  Roger Clemens’s white, pimply ass rising like Moby Dick from the churning waters of the Yankee Stadium jacuzzi and McNamee there with his needle like some roid-dispensing pencil-necked Ahab.  And to think, that’s the same Yankee Stadium clubhouse where Babe Ruth used to take his hookers between games of double headers, and make the bat boy hold up a curtain while he showed them why they really called him The Sultan of Swat.  It’s the same clubhouse where Mickey Mantle used to drink himself into a rage and threaten to carve Whitey Ford a new asshole if he ever cheated at cards again.  It’s the same clubhouse where Billy Martin used to pass out and start muttering about the elves and Reggie Jackson would tape it and use it to blackmail him.  For shame, Mr. Clemens.
