There are deadbeat dads and then there are major league deadbeat dads: A lawsuit filed in Maryland claims Raptors center and sometime Shaquille O’Neal punching bag Chris Bosh is one of the latter.
In the suit, Bosh’s ex-girlfriend Allison Mathis accuses the NBA star of dumping her while she was seven months pregnant – but this was no normal Travis Henry-style impregnate-and-dash; this was truly dastardly. Mathis says Bosh got her pregnant on purpose, even buying her fertility drugs, then gave every impression of wanting to settle down with her…in a new $1.6 million Texas home that was in both their names. Unfortunately, Chris changed his mind one day, threw Allison out of their house and refused to pay for her and their baby’s medical care. Allison says she developed complications, but didn’t have the money to see an obstetrician, plus the utility companies were hounding her over unpaid bills. She ended up moving into her mother’s two-room apartment in Maryland and had to have the baby by emergency C-section.
Of course, Bosh then did what any responsible young man would do in his situation: he demanded a paternity test. Which came back positive. Now he’s doing the only other thing he can do: deny the allegations. And fight the woman he (intentionally) knocked up and dumped in court even though he’s making $14.4 million/year and could easily afford to keep any number of baby mamas sheltered, clothed and fed. Creep.

In family law, when there are problems, one side’s allegations will always be painted in the worst possible light, even if it is untrue. On most accounts she left him.
Let us wait what the response is from Chris Bosh’s lawyers. And don’t tell me that because he is rich he can afford good lawyers who will twist everything. In fact, this will work against him in family law, and the mother has the default advantage. And, I guarantee you her lawyer is no slouch.
Allison is the deadbeat in this case because she is a liar and she knows it. First of all, the ring on her finger was fake – it wasn’t real. She wanted Chris to marry her so bad that she wore a fake ring. He never talked about marrying her she wanted to marry him. She has kept him from seeing their child not him. She is a vindictive piece of trash and I can’t wait until she is found out for who she truly is. She has been trying to tarnish his character for some time and I guess she hit it here but please believe the court documents don’t tell half the story. Chris is a good guy he just picked the wrong girl!!!
I agree…there are two sides to everything…chris is a family oriented person..he would never abandon them if it wasn’t for a reason…I believe she was only with him for his money…so maybe the truth came to light…but who knows…all im sayin is get off his back and let them deal with their own issues…
