I have no idea if it’s true what everyone keeps saying about Magic coach Stan Van Gundy panicking in pressure situations, I just know that the heavily-favored Magic lost game one to the Sixers and then were up 18 points on Philly in game 2 and almost blew the lead before recovering to win. If Orlando had somehow lost that game, Van Gundy’s reputation as a dude who can’t deal with duress would’ve ballooned to Mr. Stay Puft proportions.
