Joba Chamberlain’s mother, Jacqueline Standley, was arrested Saturday in Nebraska after allegedly selling meth to an undercover cop. The arrest reportedly happened in Ms. Standley’s apartment, which includes what is described as a “shrine” to her big league pitcher son – who, by the way, doesn’t actually speak to his mom anymore, and I think we can see why. Standley was still being held on $5000 bond as of Saturday night. She’s got a son who pitches for the Yanks but there’s nobody to bail her out of the clink after she gets nabbed peddling meth? What a sad state of affairs.

Well, I guess that answers a lot of questions, now doesn’t it?
“She’s got a son who pitches for the Yanks but there’s nobody to bail her out of the clink after she gets nabbed peddling meth? What a sad state of affairs.”
You can say that, but he can’t make her straighten up and she knew what she was doing, and I will bet that kid put up with a lot growing up, Growing up to be the man he is today, probably in spite of her. How he was able to get where he has gotten today is nothing short of a miracle, I am certain that help has been available to her over the years that she has probably used, and abused, so before you pass judgement on the man, why don’t you walk a mile in his shoes! I can see what he’s up against there, why can’t you?
What do you mean the man he has become. You mean a drunk driver, or the man who loves strip clubs, or the man who drills people in the back or the head. Oh yeah , she should be proud, so shouldn’t the Yankees
