Serena Williams Calls Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez a Dirty, Lowdown Cheater

Posted by: danzinski

Unlike her sister Venus, Serena Williams was able to defeat her 3rd round French Open opponent, but not without controversy, as outlined in the above video.  A rough summary of the issue:  Serena hit a ball directly at opponent Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez – mean, maybe, but legal.  Said shot struck Martinez Sanchez in the arm, which, according to the rules of tennis, means Martinez Sanchez should’ve lost the point.  Unfortunately, the chair referee did not see the ball hit Martinez Sanchez in the arm, and Martinez Sanchez elected not to do the honorable thing and call the penalty on herself (as any good golfer would’ve done).  Serena protested to the official, to no avail.

After the match, Serena made no bones about it:  Martinez Sanchez, she says, is a cheater.  Loved Serena’s sarcasm when the dumb-ass reporter asked if Martinez Sanchez might’ve not felt the ball hit her.  Serena was like, “Bro, you seen my arms?  Scrawny bitch is lucky she didn’t end up with a hole in her like Jesse Ventura in Predator.  Get outta my face with that.”

Martinez Sanchez, being European, will now probably say something snotty and demeaning to Serena, which won’t matter eff-all to Serena cause she’s rich and fine, and knows it.

Serena’s rich and fine? Serena’s not in the same zip code as “fine.” She’s an overweight drama queen, and even with big boobs, she’s not “fine,” … and all the money in the world won’t erase the fact that she has absolutely no class or character at all.
The only reason anyone even tolerates her at all is because everyone’s afraid of being called a racist if they say the obvious: she’s a bitch.

Jones, bro, you need some glasses. Serena is crazy fine. Calling her overweight is far off base. Her body is nothing but muscle and good genes. Did you see that beach video of her that pops up after the video above, she is a thing of beauty. Regarding your other point: people don’t tolerate her, they appreciate her congenial personality and her dominance of her sport. To bring race into the equation is beating a dead horse. No matter what race or color, anyone who can play tennis like her, with her level of consistency, will command attention and respect.

    Agrees with Martin. Well said.

Serena’s professional ability and accomplishments speak for themselves, no matter what your personal option of beauty is. As to Jones’s unintelligent argument, I’ll let that speak to your low level of both class & character. As to Sanchez, she clearly cheated, so what’s worst the cheater or the one who calls a spade a spade? Jones that’s for you!

Funny the coverage, of Serena’s drama moment. I think she called a spade a spade – the lady cheated, she got slammed and denied the ball went off her arm. A cheater. For this, Serena lost the point and then the set – and could have been eliminated. To be clear that this was cheating was not drama and Martinez Sanchez should have owned up to it, either during the game or after. As it stands, she is clearly now a liar AND a cheat.

Jones, you’re crazy! Serena is FINE and you’re a bitch for not recognizing it. Your definition of fine must be that “scrawny bitch” she hit.

Both the Williams sisters have played this game with class, despite racism that I am sure they have encountered over there careers. I really hate that you even brought race into this discussion. It sounds like a little racial agression that has built up in you. Shame on you!

The sporting world does not need dishonest players like Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez. She may be from another planet, but here on Earth, cameras don’t lie! By the way, how’s her right forearm? I hope it’s healing really well.

Can you list *any* tennis players who have ever said, “Hey, no, ump, you’re wrong, I saw that ball was out – call it for my opponent.” Or “Hey, no, ump, that ball *did* bounce twice on my side, give her the point’ or “Hey, Ump, no, that ball did hit me.”

I don’t think it has *ever* happened.

And unfortunately the video is gone. I’d have liked to have seen it for myself…
