Bombers Away

So many alleged baseball experts were lining up to throw dirt on the Yankees early in the season that we simple laymen might’ve been forgiven had we come to believe they were actually dead.  But the experts were wrong – the Yankees are alive and kicking, as in kicking the crap out of everyone, their latest victims being the Rangers whom they blasted 12-3 on Tuesday.  In one month, the Yanks have gone from being a cautionary tale in what happens when you over-spend on players to a shining example of the great things that can ensue when one is willing and able to fork over the sheckles necessary to accumulate talent.  Oh, and Derek Jeter is having a great year on the baseball field, not just in the clubs.  Those “Yankees Suck” t-shirts no longer seem sadly accurate.
