Shockey Dismisses Vegas Episode

Jeremy Shockey made a quite lame and somewhat late-coming public statement about the recent incident in Vegas where he passed out while partying with hos. “If you’re halfway intelligent you can read what everybody wrote,” Shockey said by way of dismissing the affair. “You know what they say, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. That’s in the past. I’m looking forward to the future.”
And what, exactly, is so great about Shockey’s future? He’s aging. Pretty much everyone agrees that his best playing days are behind him. He’s always hurt. Nobody seems to like him much. It’s really no wonder that he was out in Vegas getting plastered and falling on his face – that’s what pathetic has-beens do.
