But they must’ve lied because that title was already given to Jerry Rice. Just because you have stats doesn’t mean you’re the best. Can’t nobody tell me that Andre Reed isn’t better than Jerry Rice. I’m seeing cornerbacks on the 75th anniversary team that I used to demolish. But I’m coming out with my own hall of fame.”
An Andre Rison Hall-of-Fame? Where’s that gonna be located? On top of the charred remains of the mansion his woman Left Eye torched? Sorry Andre, but no matter how hard you insist you were better than Jerry Rice, nobody will ever believe you were better than Jerry Rice. Or Andre Reed. Or any other receiver who thought perfecting his craft was more important than nailing insane music stars and basically being a loud-mouthed pain in the butt.
Rison suffers from Jose Canseco Syndrome: he thinks he’s better than he really was, and it kills him that nobody ever talks about him alongside the folks he harbors near-psychotic jealousy toward. Unfortunately, all Jose ever got for all his self-promoting antics was more hatred. My advice to Andre? Stay far away from MMA, and keep Jerry Rice’s name outcha mouth.
