Shaq Takes His Act to Cleveland

Posted by: danzinski

Shaquille O’Neal is headed to the Cleveland Cavaliers to play alongside fellow superstar LeBron James.  The trade, agreed to in principle by the Cavs and Phoenix Suns, would send Sasha Pavlovic, Ben Wallace and other stuff back to Phoenix in exchange for the future Hall of Famer.

This trade has been rumored for days, but even so, it seemed to take Twitter-addict Shaq by surprise.  “Heard you got traded to the Cavs. Good luck back in the Eastern Conference,” one of Shaq’s tweeps tweeted at him in the wee hours of the morning.  Shaq tweeted back, “I did for real?  No I didn’t, stop playin’.”

Yes Shaq, it’s true, you have been traded again, and not to the Lakers for your big reunion tour with Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson.  Even better…you now get a chance to beat Kobe and Phil head-to-head in the Finals, assuming the big experiment mixing you with LeBron doesn’t turn into a big useless puff of smoke.
