Yao Ming May Need a Bionic Foot to Keep Playing

Posted by: danzinski

The news isn’t good about Yao Ming and his broken foot.  Yahoo Sports! says the Houston Rockets star is likely to miss the entire 2009-2010 season, and possibly more.  In other words, there’s a pretty good chance Yao Ming is done in the NBA.

“The realization has hit them that this is grave,” an NBA general manager said of the Rockets’ reaction to the news on Ming.

Yao has already had numerous procedures on the foot, including the installation of pins, but nothing seems capable of keeping the bone in one piece.  The bone is like, “Yo, there’s 400 pounds of Chinese dude jumping up and down on me day after day.  What the hell do you expect?  Miracles?”

As for the Rockets’ future prospects…well, at least they still have Tracy McGrady.

Oh dear.
