JBB - I wouldn't buy season tix, but I'd definitely go to a few games every year if the Clips returned to SD. If anyone else was the head coach, I'd say the Clippers could even sneak into the playoffs as an 8th seed next season. With Dunleavy...there is almost no chance.

Jimmy - Moores stays on the list. I don't know how the man sleeps at night. The Maloofs are another story though. Perhaps, I was a bit to harsh because of the past few seasons. If I had it to do over again, Mike Brown would probably make the list.

I like your rationale for keeping Al Davis off the list. You are correct. The Raiders were in the Superbowl this decade, so the past few years can’t kill an owner who reached the Superbowl in every decade except the 90’s. I’ll note, however, that the same logic should keep Moores and the Maloofs off your list. You slam them for what they have done lately, but each actually revitalized their small-market teams before dropping them off a cliff more recently. The Padres were within two blown Hoffman saves of making the playoffs for a 3rd straight year in 2007. Sacramento was right there with the Lakers and Spurs for years, and just wasn't up to their level to get over the top. I think this list should be comprised of owners who can't get their teams anywhere at all.

Even with Al Davis on the poll, I highly doubt he could unseat Donald Sterling. There really is a huge fall off after Sterling as far as bad owners go. Sure, Al Davis has let his get ego in the way lately, but he still does make moves (more bad than good these days) to attempt to better his team.

Sterling is going on three decades of awfulness with no end in sight. How much longer until the Clippers are back in San Diego?
