We agree with you Meghan. People just have too much time on their hands. Briefly, here are three other things we don’t think are that big a deal:
1) Rush Limbaugh owning an NFL team - While we don’t agree with a lot of Limbaugh’s opinions he shouldn’t have been booted from the ownership group because of external factors (Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson stirring the pot). Likewise, it wouldn’t be that big a deal if certain players refused to play for him. It’s their prerogative.
2) Dog lovers boycotting Philadelphia Eagles road games - Michael Vick spent a couple of years in jail, lost untold millions and apologized. Just turn the page. What he did was deplorable, but thousands of people are slaughtered around the world every day. Where is the outrage?
3) The whole Balloon Boy fiasco – I get that it was a story that should be reported…but two hours of uninterrupted commercial-free coverage? Simply preposterous.
