Christina Hendricks definitely didn’t disappoint at the Director’s Guild Awards. The vivacious Hendricks is posing for this picture with the 2009 California state high school science project grand prize winner her new husband.
Although I enjoyed Arianna Huffington back when she was a regular on Politically Incorrect, the Huffington Post is a site I find myself on only a few times a year. However, earlier today I somehow ended up there and read a fascinating article about South African President Jacob Zuma. The 67-year old Zuma has fathered twenty children with seven different women, currently has three wives and recently fathered yet another child with the 39-year old daughter of a close friend. Zuma sounds like a swell guy, doesn’t he? Oh, and then there is this:
Zuma had been tried and acquitted in 2006 for raping an HIV positive family friend half his age. He argued that the women had consented and that he had taken a shower to minimize his risk of infection. After the trial he admitted, “I erred in having unprotected sex. I should have known better.”
Now I am far from an AIDS expert, but something tells me a shower may not be an effective method of minimizing the risk of infection. Call me crazy.
