Last night we posted a rumor that Bill Stewart may be retiring. The rumor originated on the pay site Eersports.com, and was brought to our attention by our good friend Jim at Hail WV. Jim has since retracted his story in light of Bill Stewart calling the rumors of his retirement ”false”. Eersports for their part, are standing by the story. Both sites are doing what they feel is right, and that’s what they should do in this situation. Image via Yardbarker The college football hot stove is a churnin’. A host of schools- Colorado, Minnesota, and Miami are all on the hunt. Fansided’s own Hail WV tossed out that WVU may, in fact be on the look out for a new head man at seasons end. Among the names mentioned as possible replacements are FSU Assistant Head Coach Rick Trickett, Terry Bowden, and Tommy Bowden. My opinion? All 3 of those guys are absolutely horrible choices. Like all West Virginians, I have been bred to hate the fans, alums, faculty, students, coaches, and most importantly, the football team of the University of Pittsburgh. We don’t hate you for 13-9, don’t worry we know our coach threw that game, and it was almost worth losing to get to play Dave Wannstedt a few more times. No Pittsburgh, we hate you for your misplaced  sense of superiority, for your constantly hyped but always choking teams. The boys over at The Viking Age are reporting that Owner Zygi Wilf has instructed Interim Head Coach Leslie Frazier to get back-up QB Tarvaris Jackson more snaps this season over incumbent crappy QB, Brett Favre.

Rudy Gay > LeBron James The NFL will be relocated, not expanding a team to LA. Notre Dame, taking a typical Notre Dame stance on a typical Notre Dame problem. Very little movement in the Coaches poll. Larry Fitzgerald is understandably not happy about the Cards QB situation. Blake Griffin continues his posterization tour. Terrorists wanted to kill the 1992 Dream Team. Smart WVU fans do not want Rich Rodriguez back, but Bill Stewart isn’t getting the job done either.
