Some Light Housecleaning.

Last night we posted a rumor that Bill Stewart may be retiring. The rumor originated on the pay site Eersports.com, and was brought to our attention by our good friend Jim at Hail WV. Jim has since retracted his story in light of Bill Stewart calling the rumors of his retirement ”false”. Eersports for their part, are standing by the story. Both sites are doing what they feel is right, and that’s what they should do in this situation. The best part of the internet and the blogs is that often things don’t come directly from the horses mouth. We have the freedom to run with stories we think are correct, even if they are not ”official”. We’re not the AP, nor would we ever want to be. Had Bill Stewart not spent the past few years blowing close games and losing to inferior teams, these rumors would not pop up.

Congrats to the Lions for making a game of it through my initial dinner. That hasn’t happened since Barry Sanders retired. I’ll be back later tonight to rant about how much I hate Pitt. Until then, have a Happy Thanksgiving.
