Top 5 Comparisons To The League’s First Two Episodes

AUTHOR: | IN: Lists | COMMENTS: None Yet

The first two episodes of FX’s new fantasy football show “The League” have been epic.  Taco’s Vaginal Hubris video (NSFWish because of language) is just one of a plethora of highlights from the second episode. We have no idea if the rest of the season will be as great as the first two episodes, but it got us thinking about possible comparisons.  Here are five things that come to mind:       5.  Two 450 ft. home runs into the upper deck by Albert Pujols 4.  The Super Bowl catches by David Tyree and Santonio Holmes 3.  Brandon “Young Money” Jennings’ performance in the 3rd and 4th [...]

AUTHOR: | IN: Actual Game Action | COMMENTS: 2 Comments

The annual MLB All-Star festivities get underway Monday with that beloved summertime favorite, the Home Run Derby.  Eight juiced-up combatants, four from each league, will compete to see who can hit the most juiced-up balls over the Busch Stadium fence, and in the process ruin their swings for the rest of the season. If the Rams-Seahawks Game is Blacked-Out in St. Louis and No One Gives a Rip…

AUTHOR: | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

Rams fans have learned that this Sunday’s game against the Seahawks at whatever the Rams’ stadium is called will be blacked-out.  This happened because not enough people were willing to shell out their hard-earned (or -stolen) money to actually see the game in person.  Really?  They didn’t want to lay out hundreds of dollars (once you get through tickets and parking and beer and enough plastic junk to shut the kids up) to witness a showdown between a pair of 2-11 juggernauts?  I’m frankly surprised at this.  I mean, think about it – how often does this kind of match-up [...]
